Keeping your flowers fresh and preventing premature wilting is easy—just follow these essential care rules:
🌿 Immediately after delivery
Flowers should not remain out of water for more than 30 minutes.
🌿 Choosing and preparing a vase
Select a vase tall enough for roughly ⅔ of each stem to be submerged. Fill it halfway (a little more is fine) so that no foliage is below the waterline.
Add one sachet of Chrysal flower‑food to clean water beforehand.
🌿 Preparing the stems
Before placing the bouquet in the vase, make a fresh diagonal cut across each stem with a pair of pruners or a sharp, clean knife.
🌿 Optimal storage conditions
The ideal spot for a bouquet is a moderately cool room with constant fresh‑air circulation. Overnight you may move the bouquet to a balcony or other cool place (not colder than +5 °C / 41 °F).
🚫 Do not place the bouquet
– next to heating appliances
– in direct sunlight
– near fruit or vegetables
– in a draught
🌿 Routine care
Change the water daily. Each time, rinse the vase with a chlorine‑based solution and recut the stems.
🌿 Arrangements in a basket or box
If the flowers come in a basket or hatbox with floral foam, add water every 1–2 days in 3–4 spots so the foam stays moist.
